I've been an avid baker since grade school when I memorized the Toll House recipe, created a thousand variations of it, and sold them at a lemonade stand in my front yard. (Don't worry. I've long since changed my chocolate chip cookie recipe). Then in the 5th grade I taught myself how to bake a fruit pie with my dream mix of fruits (apple, cranberry, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, boysenberry). I graduated to homemade pie crust in the 7th grade. And I have been going from there. While baking is my first love, I also love to cook savory foods. I love creating food. I love sharing food. And I love a good challenge.
